And she was on the road once again, running at full speed. It hadn't been long since Huixian had left her home. A few weeks at most, but now she was far away from that town. Wanted posters had been placed up for her. Of course, for this reason she was changing her hair on a daily basis and moving from town to town. She left destruction in her wake. Wherever she went she would leave behind in a blazing inferno. However, very few people were suspicious of a preteen girl from the start for having started fires.
It was just so difficult for her. Controlling her emotions. She couldn't do it. She would just get angry, random and sporadically. And when she did get angry, she just had to burn something. It was an uncontrollable response that she had. It was intentional, yes, but she couldn't control herself. Sometimes she'd regret it later, but it had to come out. She could hear them behind her.
"Get back here, girl!"
"There she goes! That's the Flaming Hoodlum!"
Yes. They had discovered her, and that meant it was time to move on once again. She needed a new town, and she could only hope no one could catch her. She'd look back only briefly. She could see the damage she had caused to the inn she had stayed at. The fire was still present, and the smoke spread through the air. She wouldn't look back for long though. She continued running. That smell however was so deliciously intoxicating to her. She wished she could stay back for just a bit longer.
The girl made it out of the town and onto the beach, though the mob was still following her. Looking ahead, she only really saw one real option, and that was to swim away once and into the ocean... however, how far would she be able to swim out? She'd drown. If she tried to come back, they'd likely be waiting for her with some kind of survelince.
"I'm screwed," she huffed under her breath.

OOC: I am playing as an NPC named Aaru Lynn
A young girl whose fiery red hair would turn any man’s gaze made her way through the streets of Shu Jing. Her ears had caught word of a ruffian causing horror throughout the town. It was just the kind of excitement she needed in her sheltered life. You see, Aaru was taking a chance by simply being here as she was the daughter of a royal family located in the Fire Nation’s Capital City. She did not hate her position, but needed a break from the politics and properness. The young woman had escaped her guards and felt free.
The authority of royal families reached far out to the outer islands, such as Shu Jing. However, Aaru wanted to use this moment to act as everyone else, to live a normal life. For as long as Aaru could remember, she had grown so used to being pampered and yet there was this fiery passion inside for her to go out and see the world.
These were her first steps; exposure to normal life.
She had searching for normality and was placed in a situation extraordinary. The young woman who had caused all the trouble was now trapped with a mob of townsfolk at her tail. What could this little girl possibly have done upset so many people? Whatever had happened it did not matter; she was a little girl in Aaru’s and people should not treat anyone of this age with such revulsion. She it would be time to use her trump card and be exposed to the masses. Aaru wished there was another way, but it was worth it her could help this little girl.
“I am Aaru Lynn of the Lynn family and I insist you let this girl be.” The yelling riot silenced at these words and bowed low to the ground. To them, she was a goddess among ants...Aaru hated that. Nonetheless, she approached the one who led this gang and paid him handsomely. “Certainly that should remedy any problems she may have caused.” She smiled, but her sincerity grew serious. “Go home. All of you. You should ashamed chasing this young lady through the streets like that.” If anyone else had mocked them as such they would have retorted henceforth, but this was a daughter of a royal family. The group of townspeople headed off with their tails between their legs.
“Rats! I’m sure there will be royal patrolling for me any minute…” She said to herself and soon turned to the girl with a large smile on her face.
“Hi, I’m Aaru.” The woman introduced herself nonetheless.

The rumbling and ruffling of the mob would silence instantaneously. Huixian hadn't been planning to turn back again, but at such a silence, she really didn't have much of a choice. Of course, this was when she heard the voice of another woman coming from her posterior. She'd quickly turn around. The woman was broaching to save here? Didn't she know that Huixian had just burned down an important building? In all honesty, Huixian didn't even think that she deserved the aid of someone else.
However, what surprised her even more than the woman stepping forth to help her was that the mob actually listened to her. Did she have so much authority that the people were too afraid to even justify their actions? Huixian had so many questions right now which were to this point in time unanswered. She placed her hands upon her hips as the woman approached her with a kind introduction.
"And who do you think you are?" Huixian would ask with a short-tempered voice. "I didn't ask for any help. You must not know who I am. It's insulting for you to pity me.."
Huixian turned away for a moment. There was nothing she hated more than being looked down upon. She could take people hating her so much more easily than this. Of course, she didn't know the woman's true objectives yet. She didn't know anything about the woman, even if she were a firebender. Nonetheless, she was already thinking of a way to justify this wrong. She'd turn back to the woman and point an accusatory finger at her.
"I challenge you. Agni Kai!"

Aaru looked at the girl with an astonished look on her face.
An Agni Kai? This was preposterous; that was the type of battle men would perform to impress their women and gain their honor. In Aaru’s life, women had no use for such a challenge. In fact, most of them had no Fire Bending techniques whatsoever. It was not that the ability was not there, women just never had any reason to bring out within a royal family. They had their guards and of course, their husband to take care of such fruitless endeavors.
“I…I don’t bend.” Aaru answered blatantly.
“Listen, I’m sorry for treating you that way. I knew just by looking at you that you weren’t like everyone else.” She smiled politely and knelt down to the little girl. “That’s why I helped you.” And then put her head down. This was first time in her life that she ever felt ashamed. Here she was trying to break away from her royal family’s pompous, aragonite ways and then she treats this little girl as inferior just as they would. Aaru was not used being around others of equal status, but in this environment she would need to learn to treat everyone equally.
“Certainly if I’m so unbearable that you must challenge me to a duel, I’ll take my leave.” Aaru pulled herself have up, habitually brushing the dust from her kimono. As she looked at dress, she realized that if she wanted to blend in she should not have worn her dress with crest woven emblem across. The young woman stuck out like a sore thumb in this land. She took a few steps forward; Aaru looked back saying-
“Again, I apologize.” Then she began to walk away.
OOC: Aaru can either leave and I can introduce a new NPC or you may have her stay.

She didn't bend? Huixian was aware that there were a lot of firebenders who couldn't bend. However, her temper right now was much too high to put up with such a thing. It had really flared up at this point. When Huixian got like this, she couldn't contain her anger. She had to burn something. She had to firebend. It was the only way for her to let off her steam, as irrational as it may be.
"AAAAH!" She screamed into the air. Fire would be exhaled from her nose simply due to her rage. Huixian wanted to just attack the woman, but she knew better than that. It wasn't right to firebend at people who couldn't defend themselves, and she'd never attempt to leave permanent damage or burnmarks on someone like that.
"Then our agni kai will be without bending," Huixian would say, forcing herself to calm down just enough to get those words out. She crossed her arms and frowned at the woman she had deemed as her opponent.
"No is not an answer. So bow, and we shall begin, or... I'm just going to start!"

Aaru’s stride soften and her stomach began to churn. This would be no Agni Kai…it would be a brawl between two young ladies in the streets of a merchant town. It sounded absurd, but what else could Aaru do with this relentless girl? She had such a relentless spirit and even greater passion. The royal admired such things and decided, even though she would most likely lose, that she would give her the honor and respect she deserved.
Aaru turned around to face the girl.
“If you insist.” She began to bow when-
Two men in royal guard uniforms formed at Aaru’s sides. The royal woman let out a deep sigh…There was no hope for her facing her fears now. Truthfully, she did not want to fight the girl, but wished there had been an alternative over this. The guards were probably already upset about Aaru’s disappearance and would take it out on this little girl. They would have an excuse now that Aaru had been challenged to an Agni Kai against her.
“How dare you speak to Princess Aaru in such a manner!?” One of the guardsmen stepped forward as the other remained with Aaru. They were probably weary and cranky from their searching and had no interest in letting her get away again. “Don’t you understand the severities of your actions?!” He asked, yelling at the girl. “It seems I will have to teach you respect!” Aaru tried to retort, but the other guard grabbed her wrist and held her at his side.
He swept his arms in a circular motion to form blazing arcs that he sent at the girl.

So rude. Just as Huixian was beginnning to feel content enough to begin her agni kai, the guards had split up the fight before it could really even start. But what the hell? What were royal guards doing here? Huixian was completely oblivious to the fact that the woman she had been about to fight was related to any kind of royalty. She was just angry.
However, as blazing arcs came her way, she was forced to act. Huixian was an excellent firebener. She didn't have much skill due to her lack of a teacher, but what she did have was raw strength in her techniques, passion, and pride. Her prie was large enough that she'd never attempt to dodge a firebending attack. She was a firebender, not some wimpy airbender. A true firebender wouldn't dodge. She'd take the attack head on. She'd nullify it, counter it, or be obliterated by her enemy's flames.
She placed her hands in front of her, crossing them as her primary means of protection. However, parying them would be very difficult for her right now. So instead, she was forced to lose balance, the power sending her back and landing on her bottom. However, as a firebender, even with her block, she had been able to defend herself well enough jut not to get burned. However, she wouldn't stay on her bottom for long. She quickly stood.
"Alright! I guess you want to fight me in her stead!" Huixian spat to the guard. Her obsession for fighting was still spectacular at this point, however, the true reality of things was only that she felt that incredible urge to burn something, and he was the closest thing for her to take out her aggression upon.

The guard smile subsided as he watched the young woman get back on her feet.
“Little girl. Do you know who this is?” The guard asked as he pointed at Aaru, who looked down, ashamed of her guardsmen. “This is Princess Aaru of the Lynn family. You’re type need only bow to her and beg for forgiveness. Yet here you are treating her as an equal and challenging her grace to a battle? Preposterous!” He telled.
“You have proved your point Merik.” Said Aaru.
“I do not feel she has yet, m’lady.” He asked respectful in speech towards Aaru, but there was nothing respectful with what they were doing. “Let us give her consequence she will on not soon forget!” He smiled at the other guard who made his way to the front as well. They directly disobeyed the royal lady and prepared to attack the girl once more.
“STOP!” She yelled and fire whips erupted suddenly from both her hands. Instinctively, Aaru snapped the whips of flame against both guards back. The sudden surprise made it so the two guards had no defense against her attack. They both clasped their necks in pain as they turned around.
“M…M’lady you. You-you burned us.” The guard was mortified.
“I…did.” The statement sounded more like a question so she reinforced herself, feeling invigorated. “I did and my father shall do more than that when he learns of both your actions!” She threatened and the guards grew squeamish; Merick even gulped. “Go…the both of you…I will arrive home shortly.” The two had been so proud, but when Aaru yelled “GO!” they went running with their tails between their legs.
“So…an Adni Kai was it?” Aaru smiled and brought herself into a fighting position for the first time. She mimicked only how she had seen other people stand during an Agni Kai. She must have looked stupid as she certainly felt as such. Aaru would probably be defeated by this girl, it would not matter; she had never felt this good in her entire life.

Royalty meant nothing to Huixian. She listened to Aru's discussion with the guards, somewhat unfazed by it. They were all making so much more drama than what their needed to be. All Huixian wanted was a duel to let out her emotions, but by this point in time she was already starting to calm down with everything that was happening. She simply watched the scene before her not saying anything.
However, when she witnessed the flaming whips that the woman did, she also realized that woman was a liar. She had said she didn't bend, and of course Huixian took that as meaning she didn't have the capability for it, not that she just didn't know any techniques, and judging by what she had just done, she had some skill as well.
In any case, now that her guards had gone, Huixian would get into position. She prepared her fighting stance. She wasn't going to back out of a fight she had challenged, even if her steam had blown off mostly.
"Agni kai... Get ready."

Aaru felt her heart pounding tremendously.
She clenched fire inside and tried holding on to it for as long as possible. A single dropped of sweat developed under her brow as all grew silent. Aaru did not notice how quickly the area had cleared out during the Agni Kai. It was a strange area to begin a battle and yet felt right here and now. She no longer felt like a royal lady, but equal to the one who stood before her.
Aaru's fists clenched into and she fired a right punch, erecting a ball of fire towards her new found challenger. Aaru took a step forward and fired a second fireball in the direction of the little girl. The was no hesitation in this move and one of the was bound to make direct contact. However, an Agni Kai was not meant to seriously injure, burn, or kill the enemy. It was a matter of putting them in their place and Aaru did not plan to go down very easily.
The attacks felt invigorating and very.

The battle had started, but right now, Huixian was having a very difficult time getting herself worked up. She had calmed down quite a bit from only moments before, and her frustration had changed to some extent into confusion. Still, she was the one who had challenged the Agni Kai, so she would stick to her decision.
"HIII-YAH!" She'd challenge the opposing balls of fire with one of her own. The flame that she had shot, however, was somewhat pathetic. It was rather small... just a bit bigger than her fist, however, it was quickly swallowed up by the opposing ball of fire.
Huixian would quickly cross her arms in front of her face to block the flames, but the blast would send her flying backward. She landed on her bottom. However, she quickly rolled around and got back onto her feet. However, now she was angry. She'd quickly jump up into the air and do a jump kick toward the princess. A ball of fire was sent out from Huixian's right foot. This time it was much bigger.
"Take this!"

Aaru was staggered backwards, surprised that one of her fireballs was swallowed up by the girl’s own technique. In an instance Aaru had to react to the fireball the enemy had retaliated with. She placed her hands together and attempted to disperse the fire. She successfully suppressed the attack, however her sleeves caught fire. Cure kimonos! The young woman wafted the cloth in the air to dispute the fire.
“Your skills are impressive, even at such a young age.” She composed herself. “Let’s see how you handle this!” Aaru pointed her palm in the direction of the little girl and sent out a basic fire stream towards her. The attack was sloppy, but would hopefully be enough to keep the enemy during the Agni Kai on her toes.

The stream of fire would make its way to Huixian. She'd dive forward and do a roll on the ground to lead her back to her feet, from where she'd run as quickly as she could to stay out of the way from the woman's attacks. It wouldn't be easy to evade her, but Huixian would certainly do her best.
From her position stooping down, she'd punch her right fist with an attempt to punch a ball of fire at her opponent, Aaru. Again the fireball was of a pretty decent size.

OOC: Hey Kazai, you’re writing really well, but try to be more practical while role playing combat. I’ve used 3 attacks against you and you’ve dodged all three. It’s fine for now, but when people will lose some chi while being rewarded if they are unrealistic during battles and other situation.
This little girl, for being so small, was so relentless. The Fire Bending barely seemed phased against Aaru’s attacks and the princess was growing weary. This was the most strenuous event she had ever participated in. Aaru was so fatigued that when her whips dissipated she did not see that medium-sized fireball heading towards her.
“Aahh!” The priness was unable to react against such a sudden attack. She took the brunt-force of the fireball against her chest and was sent a few feet backwards. The young woman’s head slammed against the smooth surface of the street. Aaru forced herself not to blackout and knew she would have to get up quickly if she didn’t want the girl on top of her with another attack.
“You really know what you’re doing…I concede defeat.” She said, pulling herself back to her feet. The fireball had not made it passed the fabric of her kimono, but how was she to explain all the burn-marks. The thought went away from her mind as quickly as it came. It did not matter; Aaru took a real beating during this match, however she was doing what she wanted to do for the time in her life. It was such an incredible experience.
Aaru smiled at the young girl.
OOC: You have defeated Aaru. Do you end the match or burn her to death!?

"Hmph..."
For the most part, the fight was now over. Huixian had never heard of someone conceding defeat in a agni kai, yet this woman had. Whatever, it didn't even matter now. Huixian scoffed at her and crossed her arms. She sighed. At least she didn't have to worry about fighting the mob anymore thanks to her.
"You're not really much of a fighter," Huixian told her. In any case, it didn't matter so much. Huixian wasn't much of a fighter either. She was just lucky to have some degree of natural talent with her firebending.
"But at least you have some degree of honor. I'm going to go now," Huixian said. She then turned around, leaving her back to the woman. She then headed away, still unsure of where it was she would be going next.
OOC: Perhaps I could get some kind of bounty or something after hurting her.. idk, something to motivate my character to actually leaving the fire nation.
