Ohh... Sorry...
Personal[/u]
Full Name: Jojen
Gender: Male
Age: Twelve
Element: Air
Alignment: Air Nomads
Location: Northern Earth Kingdom
Appearance:Jojen has all the features of an adolescent, and little of either a teenager or an adult. He is small still, even amongst those in his own age group, at a mere 4'11" with a slim build. Messy brown hair and bright blue eyes, he has, along with the almost rounded face of a child.
Typical Air Nomad, the boy wears the same yellow and red-orange garbs that many of the other children wear. With a red-orange shawl, a yellow long-sleeved shirt and pants. Brown pants underneath, and thin brown boots up to his knees. Jojen has also been given a glider/staff, it is one of his only material possessions.
Personality:Loud, sudden noises, and scary situations cause Jojen to jump in fright... In fact, small, silly things have the potential to result in him leaping out of his boots as well. Basically, there are many things that have a chance of frightening the boy.
A child in appearance as well as personality, Jojen can often get excited over the littlest of things. Almost to the point of being a hyperactive kid. And when he is especially interested in a topic, airbending for instance, he has a tendency to want to learn any and everything he possibly can about that certain topic. Fueling that desire until he can no longer.
Jojen has been regarded as being more trouble than he's worth, an annoyance. His curiosity kicks in at the most inopportune times, which often worsens situations... as opposed to making them any better. It upsets him to the point where he becomes stubborn when his own people treat him like an outsider or a hindrance.
Hobbies:-Airbending
-Accidentally messing things up
-Learning all that he can learn about anything and everything the world has to offer
History:Jojen's mother to be was once amongst one of the nomadic groups of airbenders, traveling the Earth Kingdom, Foggy Swamps, and even going so far as the North Pole. An airbender herself, she was a monk or nun, whatever they called it, yet during their travels, she met a man who she fell in love with. He was from the Northern Water Tribe, with bright blue eyes that immediately drew her to him. And he to her, so he decided to leave his home to travel the world with her. Soon, she found out she was going to have a baby.
She wanted to have her child in a place where she could feel confident the delivery would go smoothly. That was why she and her husband decided on going to the Eastern Air Temple, the closest one to them at that point. When the baby was born, and she had named her son Jojen, the nuns told her that they were going to keep the child, as that was the custom. Yet she wanted to keep her son, and begged for them to allow him to stay with his family. But the elder Air Nomads would not yield, Jojen's mother had already decided to be done with her people when she first abandoned them to be with the Water Tribe man, but they would claim her son instead, in her place.
Jojen grew up knowing certain aspects of his parents' story. He would have to have been completely oblivious not to see it, always treated like half an outsider. The monks raised him in the Northern Air Temple, teaching him with the other children the ways of the monks. But Jojen was scolded at more often than not for his curiosity and even for accidents caused out of clumsiness. He was never a very... good monk, but that didn't stop him from trying to prove himself to all of them.
It took Jojen a while to realize he was a bender. But the ability finally surfaced, at the age of twelve.
