The high class environment was graced by rich nobles. Crimson hanfu fluttered past, as employees tried to fulfil orders. Arms reached upwards as he released his exhaustion. Yawning rather loudly, Suen spoke with a voice filled with content, "That was great!"
"I'm glad you thought so sir. That was one of our latest recipes..." He was answered by a smiling young waiter. Preparing the bill, he went on "Now that will be-" He was interrupted by the sound of ceramic colliding with wood. The wooden chair was flung back by the speed at which Suen stood up. His eyes did not meet with those of his attendant. "Erm..Sir?.."
"Shut up." All chatter ceased and all eyes turned towards the white haired youth. Suen kept his head hung low, clutching his empty bowl with both hands.
The waiter inquired him further, offering the piece of paper. "Sir...y-you're b-bill.."
"I said shut your hole....i'm getting to it...." Whispers began to escape observers. They were engulfed by silence once more as Suen threw his bowl up into the air. His leg followed, shoving it full force into the waiter's face. He hit the ground bottom first. The now furious victim opened his mouth to comment, but was silenced by Suen's foot once again. "Didn't I tell you to shut that mouth of yours?"
An elderly waitress stepped in, "Excuse me sir?..."
"Gosh, will all of you calm the fuck down? I'm leaving ok?"
"But your-..."
"But nothing hag!" Bringing his fingers to his lips, he performed a high pitched whistle. Which was soon received by his pet companion, crashing through the restaurant's lattice entrance. He clambered aboard and nudged his boar to move. "Let's go Porkchop. These pigeons obviously don't want us here." His boar shook her head in disapproval but followed his order nonetheless.
"But sir, your bill..." The waitress's call didn't reach Suen's ears, who was already long down the bustling street.
"Can you believe those eggrolls? Such bad customer service.." he complained as usual to his partner, who would just grunt along. Many heads turned as they traveled further down the street. The sight of a man upon a boar wasn't very common in those parts.
Porkchop came to halt on arriving at a crossroad. Both their eyes rested on the sign ahead of them. He became mute, unable to decipher the words before him, he never could. Finally sighing, he flopped his body backwards in defeat. "Oi, Porkchop go ask one of these idiots to read this...i can't be asked to.." She responded by sliding him off her back and settling down as if never asked.
"Porkchop~"She kept still. "Oi!" She clearly showed no intention of helping him. "Fine...stay there you fat arse!" He distanced himself from his pet and sat crossed legged in the middle dust ridden street. Still trying to make sense of the characters before him.

Bao-Lien and her little polar bear - leopard had just arrived in the Fire Nation a few days ago. The girl sighted many cute shops, restaurants, and other attractions. There was a firebending show, which she attended to. It was all so interesting. The new attire she was decked out in, the fire nation clothes, it all seemed so strange. She couldn't bend here, that was the hardest part. She could do it inconspicuously, but not out in the open, like she could in Ba Sing Se or any other tribe at either of the poles. She had a small sac of money that she carried everywhere, beneath her cloak. Her cub rested in her arms as the girl walked from store to store.
Soon, she came upon a nice restaurant. She entered, only to turn around. The air of the customers nearly screamed superiority. Grumbling, Bao whirled around and started to walk. However, part way through her first step out the door, a commotion began. A white-haired man was throwing a tantrum. Annoyed, Bao-Lien quickly flipped around, watching the scene. As he stormed past her, she sighed and shook her head. She began to stride foreword, but a large boar crossed before her. Confused, she could only assume that the boar was the pet of the man's. Once the pair left, Bao calmly walked up to a disheartened waitress. She calmly put a hand on the woman's shoulder and pried the bill from her clutched hands. Once she read the amount, she sighed and pulled out her money bag. Dumping out a good third of it, she pushed it to the waiter.
Nodding, she quickly turned around and started walking away. "Thank you! Thank you so much, miss! Your generosity is greatly appreciated!" He called at her. She simply turned, smiled and left the restaurant. Frowning at the fact that she had just lost one-third of her hard-earned money, Bao-Lien decided to move on from the Fire Nation. However, once she reached a cross road, she saw quite the peculiar sight. The man from earlier was sitting cross-legged, facing away from her companion. The boar, had an expression, as if to say, "What a stupid boy."
Bao restrained herself from giggling, as she felt her brows furrow. "Um... excuse me? Are you in a mishap?" She called out, quietly. It was at this moment that Manchu, her Polar Bear-Leopard, had decided to stick his little head out from under her cloak and growl at the boar. "Manchu! Stop that! Be nice, little one!" She scolded at the cub. It, in turn, yawned and buried his face in her side. Sighing and shaking her head, she looked from the boar to the man in turn. "Alright, well. If that's all, then um... goodbye?" She continued awkwardly. It felt like speaking to a wall. She turned in the way of Chongde, rather than Dazhong. One led further into the country, and the other lead to a road that skirted the border.

Suen's gaze shifted between the sign and his pet every now and then. She still remained a huge lump of fur, unyielding. He sighed. At times like these he regrets lacking the ability to read. Also knowing himself well, he knew how hard it was for him to utter a simple please or speak to others without being rude in both speech and facial expression. "Argh!"He ruffled his white tresses in frustration now, further contributing to it's messy state. The owners of the passing footsteps, shot him demeaning looks. He simply ignored. Among the many voices, his ears pinpointed a soft-spoken one belonging to a female. It seemed to be asking him questions about his current situatuion. A growl sounded, her pitch increased and Porkchop shifted. She continued to speak but Suen couldn't find the strength or care to stand and face her. He heard a goodbye and the sound of her feet turning in the opposite direction. Suen growled. Someone was willing to help but his laziness and pride overcame his strength to arise. From nearby, he could feel Prokchop's piercing gazes, somehow ordering him to get up.Though sulkily, he thought he might as well try and ask. Getting to his feet, he approached the smaller girl's posterior.
"Oi, kid! Read this for me will you?" He wore a nonchalant expression.

A few steps toward the outskirts of the country, she heard the gravel and dirt shift, the sound of the glutton rising to his feet. Once she heard his voice, she paused. The girl decided to ignore the fact that this pompous jerk had just called her "kid". She sighed and smiled at him. "All you had do to was ask." She mumbled, referring to how earlier, he had simply ignored her, and glared at her. Not to mention that he growled, yes growled, at her. That was something that she had expected from her cub, not a grown man. Turning around, she realized that the man had, indeed, approached her. Unprepared, she gave a soft squeak and stumbled back, falling on her rear. Huffing, she checked Manchu, to make sure that we was okay. Sighing, she got up, put Manchu on the dirt road and brushed herself off.
The cub curiously padded up to the boar and sniffed, daring to lick its foot. He began to rub up against the boar, before Bao even noticed that he had left her side. With wide, blue eyes, she dashed to the cub and scooped him up. "You don't bother other peoples' friends, alright?" She said softly, but sternly. Mumbling an apology, she turned back to the white-haired boy and pointed. "That way is the road of Chongde." She announced, her finger facing the heart of Fire Nation. "And that way, is Dazhong." The blue-eyed girl finished, pointing to toward the border of the country.
Before he could move, Bao placed herself in front of the man and placed her free hand on her hip. One brow was raised expectantly, as if she was waiting for him to say something. Actually, she simply wanted a "thank you", but the probability of him telling that to her was slim to none, borderline none. The little cub peeked his head out and copied Bao's facial expression to the best of his ability. Soon, though, he squirmed out of her grasp and landed on the ground beside her. The Polar Bear-Leopard cub padded right back over to the boar and sat down, wishing to be friends.

Suen just stood silently awaiting the girl's reply. His mind also occupied with the thought of how he ached to sit back down. She mumbled something, which his ears failed to catch.Still waiting, the girl finally spun to face him but immediately fell onto her behind. Unfazed, he didn't bother to offer a hand. What the hell was she doing? The brunette reemerged from the ground, brushing herself off. Suen rolled his eyes, typical of a girl to think about her appearance before anything else.
She then chased after her pet, who appeared to have an interest in Porkchop. At this point Suen was clearly annoyed. This dumbass was taking her damn time, when he could be preserving precious energy sitting down. She finally returned her attention to him, pointing out both directions.
About to make his leave, the female positioned herself in his path. He watched her arm find its place firmly on her hip and an eyebrow arch up over an expectant blue iris. He clicked his tongue whilst scratching his head. What the hell did this bitch want now? She already carried out her assistance, now why won't she just clear off?
"Move bitch, i don't need you anymore."Suen outstretched an arm. Pressing his palm against her shoulder, he shoved her quite roughly aside. He wasn't going to put up with this. the sooner he got going, the sooner he could kick back and get some sleep. He brushed past, walking in the direction of Dazhong. His other hand beckoned towards his companion. "Let's go Porkchop."

She couldn't believe it. This boy couldn't even think to say, "thank you". When she grew up, if one didn't say please or thank you, they wouldn't get what they wanted. They would have to deal without. However, this spoiled brat just tilted his head and looked confused. A second too late, she realized exactly what he was planning. She stumbled as he shoved her, and Manchu fearsomely growled at the man, lips pulled back in a nasty snarl. He was no longer interested in the boar, but rather checking to see that his owner was okay. The cub padded up to Bao-Lien and sniffed at her feet. Sighing, she picked up the cub and whipped around at the man. How dare he? Her eyes narrowed and she held back a shout of pure frustration.
Both hurt and angry that she didn't get a simple "thank you" or an apology, Bao's jaw dropped slightly. Once she was shoved aside, her anger quickly took over. She marched up to the man and slapped him across his face. She felt her hand sting as a red trail of pain spread across her palm, but it was dull and drowned out by the anger in her heart. "Excuse me? I don't know who you think you are, but you have no right to call me a bitch. You're the one who needed assistance. I pay for your meal, that you refuse to pay for, and then I help you read a simple sign, and you call me at bitch? Perhaps I am not the bitch in this situation." She snarled quietly. Though she was angry, Bao almost never raised her voice. Her tone was deathly calm, but her vivid sapphire eyes were blazing with anger. He might have been a prince of some sort, or some rich kid, but Bao-Lien had no tolerance for him. What he was doing was irrational, rude, and she simply refused to stand for it.
Her feet were planted before the man, and she had no intentions of moving. This jerk, this... imbecile had the nerve to cuss her out while she was only kind? How dare he? He even made her angry enough to cuss. Bao-Lien never did that, it was against her morals. But this man, he was against her morals.

Scratching at his abdomen, he walked at a relaxed pace. Expecting to hear his boar's footsteps pursuing him, but he heard different. A fast approaching pair of feet came instead. Before he could check who it was, the girl from before returned to her place ahead of him. Without any warning, he felt the sharp sting of her palm meeting with his cheek. He pulled back slightly, wincing at the pain spreading through his cheek. A hand flew up automatically to his face, in a failed attempt to soothe the throbbing.
Suen grit his teeth as the younger girl started to speak. She mentioned paying for his previous meal. He didn't even ask this tramp to, so why was she complaining? She then stood firm in the spot in front of him. Showing no signs of moving. What did this kid want?...A "thank you" maybe!? No way!...she ain't getting one now after the shit she's pulled. He never planned on thanking her anyways...it's just not something he could do...
He upheld his palm, a flame quickly bursting to life above it. "Look kid, i suggest you move your skinny arse out the way, unless..." Facing his palm towards a group of passerby's, the flame transformed into stream. Just barely burning them by a few inches. The group dispersed, screaming and running away. "...you want to play with fire." He cocked his head to the side, trying to fake his best intimidating smirk.
He actually had no intention of fighting this girl. He just hoped she'd be scared away. Infact, fighting was the last thing he wanted to do right now. He didn't even care about the earlier slap at this point. He just really wanted to lay down in a quiet place, undisturbed.

As the sound of flesh slapping flesh resonated in her ears, Bao inwardly cringed. However, she refused to break her calm exterior. She watched carefully as the man began to snarl at her. Though it was obvious that she wasn't going to get any form of a thank you, she wasn't willing to leave her post. She felt the need to teach this overgrown toddler a lesson or two.
Though the stream of fire faced away from her, she could still feel the intense warmth. A bead of sweat involuntarily formed on her forehead. She didn't want to reveal herself as a waterbender, so the girl simply opened her canteen and took a bit of the water from it. Though she bended the water to splash him in the face, it looked as though she had simply thrown it from her water bottle. She was quite the creative girl, indeed. "Screw your head on right." She said, her tone sharp and harsh. How stupid was he? He could have seriously injured those people, and they hadn't done anything.
His little smirk did make her a tad uneasy, but her eyes remained hard and her tone firm, as did her posture. She laughed a quick, short, soft bark, before glaring at the man before her. He was so insolent, knowing nothing about being a person. All he knew how to be was a child, and it was clear that he had passed that stage of his life. If he just said a quick "thank you", he didn't even have to mean it at this point, then she would leave him be and they could both be on their separate paths, hopefully never to meet again. However, it his stupid overbearing, pompous attitude remained, then she would surely not have it. She would try her best to make him see the light, the light of reason. The light of being a human being, which he, clearly, was not.

The smirk immediately cleared from his lips, on feeling the sudden splash of water. He wasn't amused by her choice of action. She laughed briefly then maintained her glare. Why wouldn't she run? Was his show not daunting enough? His eyes altered from the girl onto his now damp shirt. Suen sighed at the wet patches. There's no way he could fall asleep with a wet shirt. His fingers fondled his white roots. Or with damp hair...
His gaze rested back onto his obstacle, now returning her with an equal glower. She still didn't seem like she was willing to move. He could simply just walk around her. But he preferred not to do that, well not right now. Actually, he had something else in mind.
Suen pushed a fist into his palm, producing a loud cracking sound. "Ok kid, i'll play along with your stupid game. If you can stop me from passing you..." He paused to yawn. All this standing was really hard on the knees. "..then maybe i'll think 'bout thanking you." He reignited a flame withing his hand, laughing mentally.
She obviously wasn't a bender, so she'll have to move eventually. All he has to do is stand there and shoot flames around her until she moves. He fought to hold back his upcoming grin. An easy victory, he liked the sound of it. "Here I come..." He prepared to thrust a ball of flame towards her. He didn't even have to pass her, she'll just move for him...

As she watched him pick at his snowy white locks, Bao couldn't resist the smirk from forming on her delicate face. The seventeen-year-old pushed her hair back behind her ear and crossed her arms. Though she was much smaller, if someone were to stumble upon the two, there would be a great chance that they would be more afraid of Bao, than the insolent fool standing opposite her.
As his fist smacked into his palm, she held back a laugh. Did he know how stupid he looked? This dimwitted turtle clearly couldn't understand anything. She let out a soft sigh. "I can't believe you're willing to fight over saying thank you. it's not that hard. Two syllables." She snapped just before his palms ignited.
As a ball of flame began to make its way toward her at an alarming rate, Bao acted on instinct. Uncapping her canteen, she yelped and bended water to face off against the fire ball. She succeeded in putting out the ball of flame, but at the cost of most of her water. Catching some droplets, she guided them back to her canteen. "Don't you dare." She snarled, sounding more and more like Manchu.
The cub had decided to stay away from them, unbeknownst to his human owner. To prepare for the next round, she pulled a great amount of her water supply and trained it to be a small length of water. It was thin, yet long, and she glared as the firebender had done to her. By then, it was too late to hide the fact that she was a bender, much too late. Though there were no idling wanderers nearby, she was worried that the boy would tattle, describe her and risk her life. He had a good motive to. Pushing the thoughts from her mind, Bao-Lien carefully watched the white-haried man's movements.
Sadly, her water supply would not last, and there was a chance that as stupid as he was, the older boy would notice. She didn't have much water to utilize, so if she lost the rest of the water, she would have to retreat, much to her dismay.

Suen witnessed as his attack was diminished to only a trail of steam. The water retreated as her arm did. The man whistled. "Eh~? So your a water bender?" He eyed the canteen hugged within her arms."I knew that earlier attack was weird..." A snarl sounded from his adversary. He faked another smirk in response. While sighing internally.
All his expectations washed away. The girl was a bender, which means his efforts went to waste. The brown head summoned another round of water, her eyes carefully trained on him. Urgh! Did he have to fight her for real now? He looked back at his pet. The boar stood aside, not going to interfere. He groaned, facing back. He'd look stupid if he just ran away and his pride would not allow him to apologize now.
But, he could rat her out... His lips pulled back into a grin. After he deals with this bitch, he can go spread word about her. A foot pushed back, dividing the gravel beneath it.He wasn't confident in his bending skills, since he hardly trains. But he was confident this battle wouldn't last very long. With the amount of water she was carrying, there's no way she could fend off his attacks forever. His grin widened, he liked this idea better.
Taking stance, he swept a leg across his front. Bringing it towards the ground, a stream of fire followed. Flying in the girl's direction. He then took a step forward. Thrusting his fist forward, he sent another ball of flame after it. "Let's see how you can handle that!"

Bao-Lien inhaled a deep breath, puffing her belly ever so slightly. Her eyes locked onto her target as she slowly exhaled, letting the air silently find its way up to the clouds. Her narrowed eyes, liquid irises, and small pupils fixed themselves on the white-haired, gray-eyed boy. She didn't bother to respond as he spoke. He already knew the answer to that question. The answer was yes. She certainly was a waterbender. A waterbender trespassing in Fire Nation territory.
As his eyes silently shifted to his pet, hers followed. The boar, called Porkchop, was calmly sitting beside Manchu, both watching the scene. A scowl was playing on her lips, the upper of the two twitching every now and then. As he grinned, her left brow slowly raised, stopping about half way. Once his small smile transformed into a large grin, her eye brow traveled the rest of the distance. She quickly cleared the curiosity from her head and breathed slowly, attempting to calm herself from the losing battle. The problem was that airbenders could use all of the air in the world. Firebenders could summon the heat from their bodies. Earth was nearly indefinite, but Water was a scarce artifact in such a desolate place. The battle would end quickly, she could feel it, and she didn't like the vibes she was getting.
He quickly shot a double attack at her. She dodged the first and put out the second. However, the lapel of her cloak caught on fire. Cursing under her breath, she quickly led a small amount of water to her cloak, putting out the fire. She realized that she had just freed a pathway for the white-haired boy and immediately replaced herself before him. "This can all be over if you just say thank you. In fact, you can even say Thanks. That's even one less syllable and one less word." She spoke, her voice calm as ever. Though she was desperate for this to end, it didn't show through.
